How to Get to Ithaca

By Boat
Ferries connect Ithaca daily with Kefalonia, Lefkada, Patras and Astakos (Aetoloakarnania).
Vathy and Piso Aetos are connected all year round with Sami and Patras by the ferry "Kefalonia". Piso Aetos is also connected with Fiskardo (Kefalonia), with Lefkada and, by the ferry "Agios Andreas", with Astakos.
From Frikes there are regular boats to Fiskardo, Nidri and Vasiliki (Lefkada).

By Car & Boat
From Athens there are daily buses: the Kefalonia KTEL bus to Patras, connecting with the ferry, and the bus to Astakos.

By Air
Fly to Kefalonia airport and continue by the regular ferry Sami – Piso Aetos (Ithaca), or Fiskardo – Frikes (Ithaca).
In summer there are many direct charter flights to Argostoli, Kefalonia.

By Helicopter
There is a heliport in Anogi for private or chartered helicopters.
